This is actually the second time (actually, this is probably the dozenth(is that a word)) I've tried to post this topic, the first time failed (See Copious Anger). So I'm retyping this, because I forgot to keep the copied version of the original text. Right now I'm tired, and annoyed, so I'm just going to summarize, and explain the history sometime later.

I've been going out each night and watching the clouds opposite to the sunset in the Flatirons, and tonight I decided to take pictures. I'm going to do this every night I'm in Boulder. We also had rain. And a rainbow. I can only upload one file per post, so usually I'm going to upload only picture per day, usually. Tonight though, I'm going to double post, because I have two very beautiful pictures.

So.

Okay, okay. Because this topic never seems to go up, I'm going to try posting this topic without the uploaded file. And hopefully, I'll attach the pictures in replies.

EDIT: Well, I got the topic up, but now I can't attach files. Agh.

EDIT TWO: I can attach files in Replies, but I get the same white screen of death I get when I tried to post the topic the first time (See Copious Anger). Yeah. So, there's going to be quite a backlog of pictures when I finally figure out how to attach the pictures. Kudos!

EDIT THREE: THANK SOME DIVINE ENTITY!!! It works! Finally!
... except the pictures are really small, for some reason. Because they're the size of... well, they're really small. Answers Icarus?

EDIT FOUR: All images are now linked to my new account on photobucket. I would have used the image tag, but dynamic pages (you can zoom on the photobucket pages) are not supported. Just click on the hotlinks. Thank goodness I now have something that works well.

... Enjoy?

Our attachment system's a lil' broke.

Try using the method I suggested in "copious anger".

Nice! I really like the "Moon" thing. Are you taking all these yourself? You must get up very early in the morning emo-SmileDoodle.gif

I saw that rainbow the other day. It was so perfect emo-SmileDoodle.gif

Lastly, to clarify, the "Photo" bits are links. Thankee.

Actually, I just go up at around 8:15 PM to take them. It's not a very long bike ride from my house.

And indeed, I am taking all these on my own.

And PS, none of these are enhanced in any way, though some of them look really cool when I do.

Wonderful photos!! I think it'd make it prettier if you zoomed out and caught a bit of the tops of the mountains in the distance with those clouds though. Having two to three things going on in a picture elevates interest and highlights the photo, but having too many things going on may just make the picture "ordinary". emo-SmileDoodle.gif

Julian, on my walks around town (I walk more in the summer, long story.) I have captured many a photo of the sky. (albeit with a cell phone) So, if i can transfer such pictures, may I post them here, or would you prefer them in my own topic?

(either is fine with me)

At May: What mountains? Where I'm pointing the camera, it's mostly... flat. With a road.

At Espen: Sure, so long as it is, as you say, of the sky and trees.

And I'm sorry that there hasn't been a picture for the last two days, but I have reasons, really.
... don't look at me like that!

Well, when I started this project, I implied I wasn't going to be taking pictures of anything but the sky and some trees. Well, sorry, but I think this is an acceptable violation.

Tonight was beautiful.

The gap...the gap...that's my favorite one, your last (most recent) photo.

And I love "higher". That plane...

But I've got critique, too. Trees and mountains make it more interesting, that's true, but it feels so contained. I've seen the sky with my own eyes, but it doesn't feel complete to me. I feel like I'm sitting at the bottom of a square well, only allowed to see what the camera does. Is there anyway to make it feel like it goes on forever? Like it's a part of something?
